These beautiful hanging baskets (middle pic) were grown by L. Mentzel of Alaska in 2002. He used drip irrigation to water his baskets and hid the tubing below the gutters (look really close).

Red Weight Holds Dripper Tubing in Basket or Pot!

Included in Kit:

1 Roll 1/2" x 100' Poly Tubing Main Line (water source) (Now available in White or Black)
1 Snap-On Tap Adapter & Filter Assembly (No Pressure Regulator needed for this system)
15 Pressure Compensating Weighted Basket Assemblies (10 @ 18" and 5 @ 36" Long) These are assembled drippers. 18" and 36" describes the length of the micro tubing. The weight is on one end and goes into the pot The other end has an emitter which punches into the main line. If you would like these UNassembled....just let us know!
15 CLJ-3 J-Clamps (hold 1/2" tubing in place on porch or columns, etc To use on brick walls, simply switch out plain screws for masonry ones. You may choose b/w Black or White)
10 Insert Elbows 1/2" (Just in Case to make turns)
3 Insert Tees 1/2" (Just in Case to make turns in 2 directions)
1 Insert Coupling 1/2"
30 Ratchet Clamps (for insert fittings and Snap-On Tap Adapter/Filter Assembly. They hold the tubing on the fittings.)

Note: * The Weights hold micro tubing in place in the basket OR POT and the plants just grow around it. You may easily cut the 18" and 36" assemblies if necessary. * No Pressure Regulator is needed due to the Pressure Compensating Emitters.

The J-Clamps are an off-white color. These are the closest to 'white' that we have found (and it took me years to get these). The other fittings are not white, but barely noticeable once installed.

How does this kit work? Beginning at your spigot or garden hose, you will have the Tap Adapter Assembly. Between the Assembly and the Spigot, you may have a timer and/or Fertilizer Injector. After the Assembly, is the 1/2" Main Line Poly Tubing. This tubing is laid along the deck or porch. It may also be hung in the ceiling or underneath a porch. This main tubing feeds each basket dripper assembly (which may also go into pots!) The red weights hold the assembly inside of the basket or pot.

Work very well to end (kink) the Mainline Tubing

The J-Clamp holds the main line to the ceiling. When attaching to Vinyl on your porch....you may wish to substitute the nail for a screw to prevent splitting.

The Ratchet Clamps hold the Tees & Elbows into the MainLine if needed.

Here you can see a close-up of the Main Line (1/2" Poly Tubing in White). The Tubing is attached to the wall of the porch by the J-Clamps in our kit.

Then the White Micro Tubing comes down from the emitter (red emitter punched into the poly) and goes down into the basket. From a distance, this tubing is barely noticeable!
