SHIPPING INFORMATION

    This Website figures shipping costs according to the total dollar amount of your sale.  When ordering over the phone your shipping costs are figured according to the weight and shipping method of the package.  COD fees are $9.00 (determined by UPS - not us).  Please know that the COD fee will not show up on your website confirmation but will be added once shipped.   

    We at Berry Hill Irrigation have found using the total dollar amount of an online sale to figure shipping charges is very fair.  9 times out of 10 the shipping charge is very accurate.  Often times the customer comes out ahead on shipping charges but we accept that as part of online ordering.  Please E-Mail me if you have any questions about shipping charges!!  They may be reduced at time of ordering.

    We ship UPS unless you specify otherwise. If another service is more economical or efficient then we will use that method.   We are happy to ship small orders USPS.     

International:  We will ship certain items out of the USA.  Please inquire by e-mail and we will help you if possible.  Please note when importing any item from the USA, you may incur Duties or Import Taxes by your country.  You, the customer will incur these fees, not Berry Hill Irrigation.

RETURNS:  May be subject to a 10% Re-Stocking Fee.  If orders are a 'Special Order' or have to be sent from the manufacturer - you will need permission to return.  For everyday items, that are not opened or used, we do not have a problem with returns at 100%.

EXCEPTIONS

• We reserve the right to ask for more money for 3 Day, 2 Day or Next Day Deliveries when necessary.  This is very hard to calculate on our site. We will let you know before any changes are made.  Occasionally, the estimated cost shown may even be lowered.
• Also, Special Delivery Methods, like 2nd Day Air, may not always be possible. You will be notified immediately if this is the case.  Some items have to be made or they may require additional shipping costs.
• These shipping costs apply to the 50 continental USA states.  Alaska & Hawaii shipments may be charged additional shipping fees (especially if UPS is used).  You will be notified if this is the case.  Alaska & Hawaii customers will be asked to confirm these additional fees once notified.
• Any shipments to Puerto Rico & Alaska may incur extra shipping costs.  We will charge you exactly what it costs us to ship your package. We usually send Puerto Rico packages USPS due to high UPS costs to P.R.  You will be contacted about a preferred shipping method and asked to agree to the cost if there is an extra charge.  We advise you to be sure no extra duty taxes will apply to your order.  
• MANY AREAS DO NOT HAVE GUARANTEED DELIVERY.
• If you order something very lightweight (Hanna Instrument for example) and your shipping cost is figured above $10.00, this shipping charge will be refigured to a more reasonable dollar amount.  We try to be very fair in our shipping charges so that you will feel comfortable shopping on the web.
• On the other hand, we reserve the right to ask for more shipping on certain heavy products when the order must be shipped a long distance.  For example, some rolls of tape may be shipped from California, while others have to be sent from here in Virginia. We cannot ship these rolls without asking for more shipping.
• Certain Products such as Row Cover, Poly Tubing, Flatube & Layflat have had $5.00 - $7.00 added to their sale price to cover the UPS charge of additional handling.  UPS Charges us an Additional Handling Fee to ship these out of box items.
• Items such as Zip House also include Additional Handling because of Oversizing.   If several are ordered, the order will be shipped Freight Line and this too is an extra cost.   
• IF due to a multi-item order your shipping costs are too high because of the Total Dollar Amount - they WILL BE adjusted to a fair charge.
