You push the green button  and let it run until you are satisfied the plants are wet.  Then push the red button to turn off the timer.

The timer will MEMORIZE this pattern as it's schedule.  It will automatically repeat this cycle once a day, every day, automatically!

The 'Ace'

      When you are holding The Ace, you know that you have the best.  The best of the best is what the Ace is all about. This controller has up to 3 start times for each of its 2 Valves.

      You may irrigate for any length of time between one minute and up to 23 hours.  This is the only battery timer that allows you to hook up directly to a rain sensor.

      The Rain Sensor only works with the Ace 8410.  The sensor is supplied with a bracket that you mount where it can get an average amount of rainfall.  It will automatically keep the timer from activating when the sensor determines sufficient rainfall has taken place.  The sensor will continue to check at each scheduled start time!!  Wow, how smart is that?!

How Does it Work?

   The rain water collected in the upper recipient pours down and lifts the float.  When the float reaches a level equal to 5 mm of rain (corresponding to an optimal irrigation quantity), The float shuts down the timer electric circuit.

When the Sun comes out again, the water evaporates through the holes, the float lowers and the timer restarts the watering program set by the user.  The float is coated with a special synthetic material that allows better evaporation of water inside the sensor.

How Does it Work?

Example:  Set timer for 9:00, 12:00, 4:00 for 10 minutes each time.  The first garden hose turns on from 9:00 - 9:10 am.  The second garden hose turns on from 9:10 - 9:20 am.  The first garden hose turns on again from 12 - 12:10 pm, etc.
