The Super Garden Drip Irrigation Kit installs in an hour or two! This is the best drip irrigation system for home gardens and new farmers! This home drip system includes everything you need! We only use brand name parts and most will last you 10+ years.
- Simply roll the drip tape down each row. Cut it with scissors.
- Roll the blue-stripe poly mainline across the head of garden.
- Line up the poly, punch in the connectors and attach drip tape.
- Attach blue-stripe poly mainline to your garden hose or spigot.
- Turn it on to flush out for a few minutes and then add tape terminals.
- Then run tape for an hour or two and see how your garden transforms! Remember, it’s a slow drip. Running the tape for this long will not drown your plants nor run your well dry!
Frequent and consistent irrigation is the key to Drip Irrigation. You should try to keep a constant moderate level of water in the soil all the time. How many rows you can irrigate depends on how much water you have coming into the system. Use the included pressure gauge to determine your psi. You can open as many rows as you like until the pressure drops below 6 psi. How long you will need to run the system varies on soil type, type of plants, and weather. A good general rule is an hour every day.
The 15 Mil Drip Tape in Super Garden Drip Irrigation Kit will last about 3-4 years. (8 Mil is a common one-year tape.) The rest of the Kit will last a Lifetime! These are the same durable irrigation parts that your local farmer uses – we just cut it down to size for our smaller growers.
