SUPER GARDEN KIT - Waters up to 20 Rows. Includes everything you need for a successful garden!    This Kit is also recommended for High Tunnel growing!

  • Designed, Assembled and Shipped by Berry Hill Irrigation in Virginia!

Drip Tape, Filter, Mainline and enough fittings to water up 1-20 rows.      Purchase the drip kit and you are ready to irrigate!  The Kit installs in an hour or two!

  1. Simply roll the drip tape down each row. Cut it with scissors.
  2. Roll the blue-stripe poly mainline across the head of garden.
  3. Punch in the connectors and attach drip tape.
  4. Attach blue-stripe poly mainline to your garden hose or spigot.
  5. Turn it on for an hour or two and see how your garden transforms!

Frequent regular irrigation is the key to Drip Irrigation.  You should try to keep a constant moderate level of water in the soil all the time.  How many rows you can irrigate depends on how much water you have coming into the system.  This is what the pressure gauge is for.  You can open as many rows as you like until the pressure drops below 6 psi.    How long you will need to run the system varies on soil type, type of plants, and weather.  A good general rule is a hour every day.

The 15 Mil Drip Tape will last about 3-4 years. (8 Mil is a common one-year tape.)  The rest of the Kit will last a Lifetime!  These are the same durable irrigation parts that your local farmer uses - we just cut it down to size for our smaller growers.

NOTE:  1000 Foot Rolls come on 2 Spools.  Our spools will not hold a full 1,000 feet of 15 mil drip tape!

FAQ:  How much drip tape can I run at one time on a garden hose?    How much water is this putting out?

The Flow of your drip tape is the 3rd set of numbers in the Model #.  This number is stated in GPM per every 100' of tape that you run.

EXAMPLE:  EA5081245-7500   This tape puts out .45 gpm for every 100 feet that you run.   OR  4.5 gpm for every 1,000' of tape that you run.

TRY IT :     --- I have 12 gpm of water coming out of your garden hose at the field/plot.   Therefore, I can run 2,666 feet of drip tape at one time.  (MATH: 12 divided by .45= 26.666   x 100 feet = 2,666 feet)

--- I have 14 gpm of water  "   "    " ...    Therefore, I can run 3,111 feet of drip tape at one time.

Take your Flow  (.22, .34, .45, .67, 1.34 and divide it into your GPM.  Multiply that # x 100 feet.

How do you figure your GPM ?   Take your garden hose close to your garden plot or field.  Run it for approx 2 minutes.   Then time yourself filling up a 5 gallon bucket.  How long did it take? 30 seconds would mean you roughly have 10 gpm.

Drip Tape needs 6 PSI to work properly; and not more than 12 PSI or it will split.

Thanks to drip irrigation, I now have the best gardens I have ever had. Within a week of planting, I have a perfect stand and the plants get off to a good start. As a water source I used an old 1,000 gal tank that I filled from a local pond and gravity fed the water into the drip lines, It worked perfectly. The water pressure in the drip seemed to be as good as you ask.
If you have never tried drip I guarantee you will love the results!
