Who is Berry Hill Irrigation?

Berry Hill Irrigation is a family-owned business in Southside Virginia. It was started by a man with a passion for a product. That passion grew into the love for a business and its’ customers. It continues today as we help people grow all over the United States and beyond.

The Story of How It All Began Berry Hill is a family-owned business that was started in a basement. Joe was an Elementary School Principal looking for extra income, so he planted strawberries. He started using T-Tape drip irrigation in the field and fell in love with it immediately. Joe could not stop talking about it and finally his wife said, if you love it, you should sell it!

So Joe did; he bought a pallet of T-Tape in 1985. He took a leap of faith, maxed out his Credit Card and told everyone he could how great this product was! Within a couple of years, he was able to build a small warehouse and hired Derwood, who is still with us today. Joe retired from the school system and with the help of his children continued to grow the business. We’ve added many warehouses and filled them with inventory.

Over 35 years later, we are the largest provider of brand-name Drip Irrigation in the Southeast. We specialize in drip irrigation. We provide irrigation to home gardeners, hobby farmers, commercial growers, greenhouse and nursery growers, prison farms, research universities and more.
